Former Ethics Minister Miria Matembe and ruling NRM government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo on Thursday turned NBS Premium talk show #The Frontline into a fist fight of sorts. This follows after Matembe ordered Ofwono Opondo aka O.O to SHUT UP!! as she stressed her point regarding the topical discussion contentious Land Issue in Uganda and whether the recently appointed Museveni Land Inquiry Committee would do a good job in unearthing all the land grabbers. After being ordered by Matembe to SHUT UP Ofwono Opondo lost his cool and chopped wires. O.O pointed fingers at Matembe and warned her to stop intimidating him. Opondo threatened to undress Matembe live on TV if she didn’t intimidating and treating him like a P.1 Kid.
The talk show moderator Charles Odongtho was just gazing with no words as the two elephants exchanged bitterly in front of the cameras. The talk show was abruptly switched off until tempers cooled down. DP President Nobert Mao, Medard Segoona and Lands Minister Betty Amongin who were part of the discussion enjoyed the ten minute action movie between Miria Matembe and Ofwono Opondo.
