Uganda Football governing body Federation of Uganda Football Association (Fufa) has suspended Masavu head Coach Allan Kabonge who reportedly insulted a referee during their away match to Masaka based Synergy F.C. According to a report that Entebbenews has seen, Fufa indicated that Kabonge insulted the referee several times during the match. And as a disciplinary measure, Fufa has resolved that Kabonge will serve a one match ban and has also been fined Five Hundred Thousand Shillings (Shs500,000).
Meanwhile on Saturday Masavu eased past Kataka Mbale 2-0 at the Katabi Gombolola football pitch in Entebbe. Peter Lumoro and Onesmus Andama were on target for Masavu. Masavu still top Rwenzori Group log with 40 points, Mbarara City who have a game in hand are in second place with 34 points.
