
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has warned Ugandans to desist from grabbing government land. President Museveni who was officiating at the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a pediatric Hospital in Entebbe on Friday said that government land should be used to serve projects that benefit the wider public. Museveni said that the Hospital will be a centre of excellence in addition to offering free services, creating jobs for Ugandans and reduce referrals to Hospitals abroad.
He thanked Dr. Gino Strada the founder of Emergency an Italian NGO for setting up the hospital in Uganda. Government of Uganda offered the land to Emergency which will construct the Hospital to a cost of Euros 23 million.

Domenico Fornara D’Fornara the Italian Ambassador to Uganda and Several government officials including Health Minister Dr. Ruth Achieng, RDC Rose Kirabira , Hon. Rose Tumusiime and Mayor Vincent Kayanja DePaul graced the function.
