Singer Lydia Jazmine has spoken out on her earlier alleged Nikkah ceremony, noting that it showed her all those who wished her well.
Over the weekend, social media was awash with speculations that Lydia Jazmine was getting married in a private religious nikkah ceremony. This was made believable when her very close friends, including Karma Bae and Melissa Mulungi, sparked a rumour after they shared photos of them as the bridal train posing beautifully alongside the bride.
Taking to their respective social media platforms, they expressed support and congratulations to the singer’s alleged new marriage journey.
As rumours spread like wildfire online, it later turned out that the singer wasn’t getting married, but rather shooting visuals for her new song dubbed “Ameenallah.”

Taking to her Snapchat handle, Lydia Jazmine addressed the viral rumor, apologizing for the misconception before complimenting how good they looked for the video shoot. She noted that the rumor showed her, her real friends, and family members who wished her well.

“Please forgive me, but we were extremely smart. Now, imagine what a real Mukolo will look like? Do not say it is just a video shoot because we are soon having a real Mukolo. But still, I saw my real friends and family who wished me well. That is important to me. I love you guys,” read her post translated from Luganda.
