The 2016 Entebbe Copa Coca Cola Secondary Schools Soccer championships came to a grand finale on Friday with Kisubi High School being crowned Champions. Kisubi High School defeated Entebbe Parents Secondary School at the Katabi play Ground through skipper Emmanuel Loki’s beautiful goal that left Entebbe Parents goalie dazed. On form Loki piled immense pressure on Entebbe parents throughout the second half though many of his chances didn’t yield fruit. Entebbe parents’ efforts to make a comeback proved futile with little goal attempts.
Emmanuel Loki’s single goal in the Semi-finals helped Kisubi High beat Nkumba Secondary School 1-0 to advance to the finals. Entebbe parents who had earlier been embroiled in a controversy with St. Mary’s College Kisubi had to repeat the semifinals which Entebbe Parents won 4-3 on penalties to advance to the finals. The match had ended in a 0-0 draw.
