Dancehall singer King Michael has publicly apologised to Omulangira Suuna for unintentionally failing to recognise him at his recently concluded concert.
Over the weekend, Michael had his concert and expressed gratitude to several creatives who supported his career, shunning Omulangira Suuna’s efforts despite being the brains behind his hit song ‘Muko Muko’.
Omulangira Suuna was so quick to express his disappointment as he felt he was not being appreciated enough for how much he contributed to King Michael’s career.
Michael, during his interview with BBS TV, apologised to Suuna, noting that it wasn’t his intention to ignore his contribution on his special day. He explained that he had it in the program to call out on stage everyone who had played a huge role in his career, Suuna inclusive.
He, however, was interrupted by the police who stopped his show because it had gone beyond the stated hours. Michael revealed that he was cut short and didn’t get the chance to perform some of his fans’ favorite hits.
“I apologise to Omulangira Suuna but as you all saw, the police stopped me while my show was still going on. Omulangira Suuna should forgive me because the police interrupted my initial program but he was in the line of my people that I was supposed to thank.”
“He was in the program of being called on stage because personally, I delivered his invite for the table. I couldn’t forget such a person who even bought a table. I knew he deserved to be near the stage for me to call him easily to the stage but the police stopped us. It wasn’t my fault, not to mention you but the police interrupted us,” he said.
