The 6th Edition of the Kids Of Africa fun-run is targeting to Fetch over one hundred million shillings (shs100M) towards the construction of boreholes in a campaign to provide safe clean water to different communities neighboring the Swiss-Africa founded children’s home located off Entebbe road. This year’s event is scheduled for the 16th October 2016 and has attracted several corporate companies including ROKO Construction ,GT Bank, Orient Bank, Sheraton Hotel, IHK Hospital ,SPEDAG , Ping Events, Varsani Electric, Yako Microfinance and Activate Uganda. Speaking at the launch, the Kids Of Africa Director Tage Budolfsen revealed that this year’s fun-run is exciting and has attracted over one thousand (1000) runners unlike last year’s marathon that attracted 923 participants. Several registration centers and points have been earmarked for registration and these include Game Store Lugogo, Grand Imperial Mall Shop 47, Endiro Coffee Kisementi and Nakumatt Entebbe plus registration fee of shs20,000/= per individual and late registration of shs30,000/=. Last year’s fun-run fetched approximately eighty million shillings (shs80M) towards the completion of a modern dental clinic at the Kids of Africa now celebrating 10years of existence.
