

Masavu continued to bolster their second place on Fufa Big league log after they edged Wandegeya FC 1-0 at the Katabi play ground on Tuesday. Kenneth Tumusiime put Masavu ahead in the 47th minute after he nailed Onesmus Adama’s pass. Masavu continued to pile more pressure on Wandegeya side though most of their shots were off target. Wandegeya had an opportunity to go level with Masavu but Jospeh Kayiira’s shot went over the bar.
Masavu dominated Wadegeya in the first half though Kenneth Tumusiime and Peter Lomoro failed to put the ball into the back of the net. Kenneth Tumusiime’s header went over the bar and was also denied a goal after he was caught offside. Peter Lomoro piled pressure on Wandegeya goalie Kenneth Bagenda though his shots were off target.
Masavu are now in second place on the Fufa Big league log with 41 points out of 19 games played. Kirinya S.S is in third with 40 points out of 19 games played. Proline is top with 47 points out of 20 games played.
