The Entebbe Super Cup Division ‘A’ Quarterfinal clash kicked off on Tuesday with a mouth watering show down between elite side and cup favorites Bugonga suffering a shocking exit from the Inaugural Hon. Rose Tumusiime sponsored Entebbe Super Cup. Bugonga who won their opening two matches against Nakasamba 12-1 and Kakeeka

4-1 fell to a much organized Katabi-Kitubulu side in the quarterfinal clash that was held at Lake Victoria School Football Pitch. Shuran Mugunga and Kenneth Kisiro capitalized on Bugonga’s defensive and goal keeping errors to put Katabi-Kitubulu ahead in the first half with two goals. However Bugonga went level with Katabi-Kitubulu after Abram Ndugwa equalized in the second half. After a 2-2 Bugonga lost 12-11 to Katabi-Kitubulu on penalties. Bugonga striker Gospel Mangeni felt the excruciating job in the goal keeping position after goalie George Kayongo was still serving his three match ban following his unsporting behavior against Nakasamba’s Henry Kiwa.

Elsewhere Katabi-Namate defeated Katabi-Busambanga 5-3 on penalties after 0-0 draw while Lunyo East defeated Kakeeka 4-1.  Nsamizi shocked Banga-Nakiwogo 2-1 on Friday.
