The Entebbe Muslim County Chairman Edirisa Matovu has warned a yet to be identified Indian Investor who for the last couple of years has been giving Muslims in Entebbe sleepless nights and paining heads ever since he picked interest in the 5.2 acre controversial piece of land located next to Cinema Hall. Several documents that Entebbe news has seen indicate that the anonymous Indian Investor under his RWS Enterprises Limited is claiming ownership of the land and for the several years he has been battling with Muslims in the different courts of law to vacate the land in good faith.
Speaking during the Eid Celebrations on Wednesday Edirisa Matovu warned the anonymous Indian Investor to back off and stop fooling around on the Muslim land. Matovu called on all the Muslims in Entebbe to rise up and defend what rightfully belongs to them. However another faction led by Kassim Bukenya (Entebbe Muslim Community Limited) has been at logger heads with Matovu’s faction over the controversial land. The two rival camps are fighting like hell over who should take charge of the land.
