Saturday marked another action packed weekend at Entebbe Rugby Grounds as the Sadolin Mongers took on Protector Heathens. The match ended nil-nil in the first half with either side failing to score.
Heathens grabbed an early lead in the second half after Lubanga Chris scored a penalty but the early lead didn’t last long as Adrian Wasswa converted a try and scored a penalty to give Mongers a ten point lead.
However Heathen’s Asuman Mugerwa scored a try in the last dying minutes of the match to draw with Mongers.
“I cannot celebrate a draw. I am utterly dismayed that we have not been able to win this match” Mongers coach Robert Powell told entebbenews shortly after the end of the match.
