Media personality Haffy Powers, real name is Hasifa Nabbanja, has shared her toxic experience at her former workplace, BBS TV, leaving her followers wondering if it was one of the reasons she resigned from the station.
Haffy Powers made the revelation in her “goodbye” videos shared on her TikTok account, and in that revelation, there was a situation with a close aide at the station. It messed her up so bad that she wanted to quit her job.
“I went to the HR office and we spoke for three hours. I was crying so much. She gave me her time and advised me using examples of her life. I learned that people do things intentionally for you to give up so that they can shine. She told me to chin up and go for what I deserve,” she said.
Haffy Powers revealed that by the time she gathered the courage to speak about the situation, her world had turned upside down.

“Whatever was happening, I had experienced it before at my former workplace but then I was younger. People are bad and they don’t even care. Why would you treat me bad if I have never done anything bad to you? But she told me to be strong. I do not work from a toxic environment. I don’t want anyone disturbing my peace because life is too short,” she said.

She had been at the station for four years before she quit. There had been an ongoing rumor that she left because the station was firing employees, but she denied the allegations. Haffy, however, acknowledged that some changes were being made.
