
Hundreds of mourners converged at St. Johns Church on Monday to bid farewell to the Entebbe Geological Survey and mines Boss Engineer Balu- Tabaaro William who passed away on Sunday July 26 at Kampala International Hospital (IHK) after battling several life threatening ailments including High blood pressure, Gout and stroke for the last couple of years.

Several mourners described the deceased as a principled and a God fearing Man who loved his job. Late Balu Tabaaro also worked with Kyambogo and Makerere University to strengthen Research and development of Bio-composite Materials for use in low cost housing. He was also an active member of the Rotary Club in Entebbe. He graduated in 1976 with a Bachelors of Science in Mineral Engineering specializing in Mineral process Engineering from Queens University in Canada. The deceased passed away at the age of 66 and is survived by four grown up kids and wife Winfred Tabaaro. Bank Of Uganda Governor Tumusiime Mutebile missed the requiem mass due to other engagements but sent a condolence message of Shs 1m. He will be laid to rest tomorrow in Ruhita Karaba in Kabale District.
