Shafik Bisaso coached Masavu FC continued to strengthen their second place position on the Fufa Big league log after they edged Kasese’s Sun City 2-0 on Thursday. Peter Lumoro put Masavu ahead in the 27th minute with a clinical finish. Lumoro sealed Masavu’s victory in the 32nd minute with a superb shot that left goalie Baale Sadat dazed. Lumoro and Onesmus Andama squandered several clear cut chances in the second half that would have doubled their lead. Elsewhere Entebbe FC lost 2-1 to Wankulukuku’s Hope Doves.
