Forum For Democratic Change (FDC) Secretary for Mobilization and defiance activist Ingrid Turinawe is nursing a paining head and counting herself unlucky after she was bitterly caned in the just concluded East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) polls. The FDC Iron Lady was on Tuesday taught a lesson of a life time by ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) MP’s after they denied her chance to join the Lucrative EALA Parliament in Arusha Tanzania. She garnered only 25 votes and to make matters worse she was booed like hell by NRM MP’s as she tried to campaign in Parliament. The NRM MPs denied her votes after they accused her of running several hostile anti-government protests including bashing and refusing to recognize President Museveni as President of Uganda. The FDC Party President Gen. Mugisha Muntu is licking his wounds and has not said a word after the embarrassing defeat. The lucky Ugandans who made it to the EALA Parliament Include:
1. Mukasa Fred Mbidde (DP)
Akol Rose Okulu (NRM)
3. Mathias Kasamba (NRM)
4. Mary Mugyenyi (NRM)
5. Paul Musamali Mwasa (NRM)
6. Dennis Namara (NRM)
7. George Steven Odongo (NRM)
8. Christopher Opoka Okumu (UPC)
9. Suzan Nakawuki (Independent)
