Police in Entebbe on Tuesday rescued two fake witch doctors after they were accused of conning several people including Fred Katongole, Eddie Semwogerere and Twaha Tabula. Mugongo Gwambwa and Badru Kapompo narrowly cheated death after angry residents at Abaita Ababiri trading centre had organized to stone them to death after being conned millions of shillings. This follows after the duo demanded for over five million shillings over the deadly spirits that attacked a one Twaha Tabula.
The fake witch doctors claimed that they were sent by mama fina to work on the deadly spirits. The Abaita Ababiri LCI Chairman Abbey Ssebowa confirmed the incident and called in police which arrested them after surviving the angry mob that was ready to stone them to death.
