Residents in Kitala zone, Katabi Town Council on Monday demonstrated the rampant killing of women and girls in the Town council. The bitter residents held placards reading “Tusaba Gavumenti Etuyambe” (We are begging Government to help us) over the rampant killings of women in Katabi Town Council.
However our reliable sources have revealed that NBS Presenter Simon Kaggwa Njala mobilized the residents to demonstrate over the killings since he also resides in Kitala zone. RPC KMP South Hajj Siraj Bakaleke stormed the demonstration and addressed the residents on wide ranging security issues including Mayumba Kumi security system and neighborhood watch. Bakaleke warned parents to monitor the movements of their children during the holidays. He said that Police has embarked on cutting down all bushy spots in Katabi Town council because killers use the bushes to dump the women after killing them.
Meanwhile we have highly established that Kaggwa Njala mobilized the residents to demonstrate because he is warming up again to another Political come back in 2021.
