Over 130 residents from Entebbe Municipality completed training in mushroom growing last week on Saturday at the Chang Sha Primary School. The one day training which was organized by Entebbe Municipality Mayor Kayanja Vincent Depaul is aimed at fighting unemployment among the youths.

Speaking to the media after the training Mayor Kayanja was optimistic that mushroom growing would turn around the fortunes of the people of Entebbe Municipality including the youths who are massively unemployed.

“After this sensitization I believe mushroom growing can be done by everyone. Mushrooms are nutritious and also cure several ailments and I urge the people of Entebbe Municipality including the youths to embrace the project because the market is there” Kayanja said.
