Entebbe Airport Football League debutants Protea Hotel bounced back from a 2-0 defeat to rivals Lake Victoria Hotel to hold Special Forces Command (SFC) to a goalless draw on Thursday. Despite being in great form SFC had all their clear cut chances in the first half go to waste while the rest were saved by Goal Keeper Elvis Bwire. Akim Kawenje, Deo Ssenyondo, Kone Kisapamungu and Victor Ngobi were on the firing side for SFC. Tables turned on SFC as Protea regained their mental strength and belief in the last final minutes of the second half and begun firing shots that kept SFC defence and Goal Keeper Kenneth Tukahirwa busy. Protea would have had the last smile had Daniel Ssembusi not squandered his shot in the 18 yard box that he fired direct into Goal keeper Tukahirwa’s hands. Meanwhile on Tuesday CAA had a walk over after ENHAS team was disqualified because they didn’t have jerseys. League resumes today with Airport Taxi taking on Air force at 5pm.
