After narrowly beating Toyota Buffaloes 21-17 to win their match day one on Saturday Mongers resumed training at the Entebbe S.S Grounds on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s clash with title holders Dmark Kobs.
“Dmark Kobs has very good players, it is a very good team that managed to win the title last season. They beat us last season 40-13 but we are determined to shock them this time round” Mongers Captain John Wandichio told entebbenews.
Mongers have began the 2014/15 season with two new signings Wakabi Simon from Dmark Kobs and Opio Joel from Mbale Elephants.
Mongers will be without Baseka David who got a red card during last weekend’s match and will be out for two weekends. After thumping Makerere Impis 75-0, Dmark Kobs will face Entebbe Sadolin Mongers at the Entebbe S.S Grounds also known as the “House of Pain”.
