    It was another exciting weekend for the Entebbe Mongers who managed to shock defending champions Dmark kobs at the Entebbe S.S grounds commonly known as the ‘House of pain’.

    Mongers beat Dmark Kobs 28-15 to clinch their second win of the 2014/15 season. Mongers dominated the first half with a 12-5 score ahead of the Dmark Kobs, thanks to Adrian Waswa who managed to convert four penalties while Kobs managed to get a try.

    Dmark Kobs managed to score a penalty and convert a try but Mongers proved tough as they scored two tries and two penalties to bring the final score to 28-15, thanks to Adrian Wasswa and Lenon Kalule.

    “Last season Kobs humiliated us but this time we were able to beat them. The team has improved and we have learnt from our past mistakes which have enabled us to get our second straight win” captain Wandichio said shortly after the match ended.

    Mongers team coach Robert Powell attributed their success to belief. Belief and attitude are the most important attributes that have enabled the Mongers to get a resounding victory against the defending champions Dmark Kobs.

    Adrian Wasswa was named man of the match. Mongers face Ezee money Rhinos on Saturday.

    Mukalazi Hannington got injured and was substituted by Opio Joel. Other substitutes for the mongers included Bulago Joseph came on for Mayiku Anthony, Wakabi Simon came on for Benjamin Mugumya while Tukwesigwa Christopher substituted Jerome Buyonga.
