Entebbe based Tagy High School held Kakungulu Memorial Secondary School to 0-0 Draw in the Buganda Women’s Elite football League on Saturday at the Katabi Play Ground. Kakungulu Memorial had all their shots blocked thanks to Tagy High’s solid defence. In the second half Kakungulu Memorial piled more pressure on Tagy High but Goal Keeper Najjemba Else managed to save all the shots that were fired.
Mean while Tagy High failed to convert two corner kicks in the second half that could have handed them a home victory. Elsewhere Riness S.S lost 1-3 to London College on Sunday with Mama Becca Cup MVP Nakibuuka Asiya scoring a superb hat trick for her side. Nazziri Resty scored the consolation goal for Riness.
The elite league resumes on Wednesday with two match fixtures. Mutesa I Royal University Hosts Dynamic S.S Mukono in Rubaga while Kakungulu memorial hosts Riness S.S at Kibuli Primary Teachers College. Matches kick off at 4pm.
