The Entebbe OC Traffic Police Boss ASP Eriya Kamugisha has warned Boda Boda riders in Entebbe Municipality over misbehaving on the roads and disobeying several Traffic regulations. Kamugisha noted that Boda Boda riders don’t want to comply with Traffic officers on several issues including updating and renewing their driving permits. He said that many Boda Boda riders instead of cooperating with Traffic officers to sort out their matters amicably prefer to vanish into thin air and engage the traffic officers in endless running battles. Kamugisha also vowed to continue cracking down on Boda Boda riders who don’t want to wear helmets and reflector jackets. Kamugisha who was addressing a Boda Boda meeting on Thursday also indicated that several Boda Boda riders have been arrested and put behind bars over riding recklessly on the roads with booze on their heads.
