    The Nile Special Rugby league season 2014/15 came to a climax on Saturday with the Entebbe based Sadolin Mongers finishing fourth with 37 points a better improvement from the 2013/14 season in which they finished sixth.

    Sadolin Mongers beat Mutoni Warriors 14-12 in their final league match at the Entebbe S.S Rugby Grounds also commonly known as the ‘House of Pain’. Byamugisha Emma and Tago Isca opened the score sheets for Mutoni Warriors with a try and a conversion in the first half. Musisi Henry’s try gave mutoni warriors 12-0 lead score line against the Mongers.

    In the 60th minute Adinah Kiiza converted a penalty try to put Mongers at 12-7 and in the 78th minute Man of the match Prop Adigasi Ronald grabbed a late try for his side Sadolin Mongers and Centre Adrian Wasswa sealed their win a conversion.

    The match ended in blows as players from Mutoni Warriors accused referee Tony Tee of not being impartial. Mongers played their final match without Head Coach Robert Powell who is away on holiday in England.

    Mongers had a dismal second Round as they lost five away matches and their biggest loss was to champions Hima Cement Heathens 33-05. They managed to keep a clean sheet at their Home ground the entire season.
