Former Namirembe Diocese Bishop Samuel Balagadde Ssekadde is bitter with the Government over frustrating the elderly in the country.
The Bishop said recently during the International day celebrations for older persons organized by the Health Nest elderly forum in Entebbe. The man of God said that the government has failed completely to support the elderly persons in the country to live a comfortable life before they pass on to meet their creator.
He said that millions of elderly persons in the country are living miserable lives with no financial and medical assistance to bail them out on addition to feeding poorly.
Health Nest Uganda Executive director Arthur Namanya said that government should soberly support the elderly and stop frustrating them to curse in their own country on addition to including them in the National development planning process.
