Former Forum for Democratic Change Presidential Candidate Rtd Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye is a man with nine solid lives. This follows after Police Chief Gen. Kale Kayihura and government backed down and allowed him to be free again after spending over 40 days under lock and key in his Kasangati home. The four time presidential candidate on Tuesday put Kayihura’s boys on tenterhooks around the city centre after his supporters mobbed him on his way to FDC Party Headquarters in Najjanakumbi for the on-going prayer campaign/Free My Vote Campaign. Kayihura’s boys sweated plasma and started running on their toes after the battle-hardened man and former Museveni bush war doctor put the whole city on massive lock down. The charismatic leader was intercepted around Mulago zone by police who later towed his car to Kiira Road Police Station. He was later driven at break-neck speed to Nagaalama police station in a black tinted police van where he was detained and was released with no case to answer. Besigye has consistently stated that he won the February 18 Presidential elections.
