Angry boda boda cyclists on Tuesday morning raided Entebbe police station over the arrested thugs that have been terrorizing them in addition to killing them. Over one hundred bodaboda cyclists from different areas in Entebbe raided the police station over the arrested thugs that have been giving them sleepless nights and headache.
The suspected thugs have been making illegal road blocks and hitting boda boda men with iron bars. The thugs were arrested on Sunday after several boda boda motor bikes have reportedly been missing.
Three different boda boda cyclists including Micheal Twishima, Daniel Mwesgye and Baiso Mugabirye lost their motor bikes on knife point after thugs ambushed them in different areas. The Entebbe Police Commandant Godfrey Nisiima warned boda boda cyclists to be spy-dogs of every passenger they carry and transport on their motor bikes. Four suspected thugs including Kyalimpa Moses, Moses Ahebwa, Ronald Ntale and Tom Kivumbi have been arrested over several stolen boda boda bikes.
