    Airforce Dominates 7th ICPAU Juniors Woodball Championship.

    Uganda Airforce Secondary School claimed five medals at the 7th ICPAU Juniors Woodball Championship that was held at Lake Victoria School play Ground on Saturday. Airforce’s Azaabo Kizito, Mathias Kizito and Edson Tumwine scopped all the three medals in boy’s category. Azaabo scooped Gold after he returned a total of 57 strokes while Mathias Kizito and Edson Tumwine scooped silver and Bronze after they finished in second and third positions with 65 and 72 strokes respectively.

    Shortly after receiving his medal Airforce’s Azaabo Kizito bragged to entebbenews about his victory.

    I had a good game though I expected to perform much better. My target now is to lower to 40’s. I’m now going to train harder for the upcoming tournament. Our school(Uganda Airforce) had a walk over because several schools didn’t show up, 20 Year old Azaabo who also doubles as the School woodball team captain and player/coach.

    In the Girl’s category Mary Reparatrix’s Upendo Mligo scooped Gold after she tallied a total of 71 strokes. Uganda Airforce’s Gloria Apio and Irene Dawa scooped Silver and bronze after they returned 71 and 72 strokes respectively.

    In the Primary School’s category, Entebbe Junior’s Isaac Lipekene, Kiwafu Primary School’s Jamir Serunkuma and Nalugala Fahad Lukanga all returned identical results of 62 strokes.

    The Championship attracted 95 participants from Airforce S.S Entebbe, Entebbe Junior School, Kisubi Boys Primary School, Kiwafu Primary School, Lake Victoria School, Mary Reparatrix Girls School Entebbe, Nalugala Muslim Primary School, Rainbow Christian School, St. Agnes Primary School Entebbe.

    Entebbe Region will be represented by the following teams at the 7th ICPAU Juniors Woodball Championship due June 11, 2016 at King’s College Budo:

    Primary Boys

    1. Entebbe Junior Primary School
    2. Nalugala Muslim Primary School Entebbe
    3. Kiwafu Primary School
    4. Kisubi Boys Primary School

    Primary Girls

    1. St. Agnes Primary School Entebbe
    2. Nalugala Muslim Primary School Entebbe
    3. Lake Victoria School
    4. Kisubi Boys Primary School

    Secondary Boys

    1. Airforce S.S Entebbe

    Secondary Girls

    1. Airforce S.S Entebbe
    2. Mary Reparatrix Girls School Entebbe
