Renowned actress Sally Elizabeth Bwamimpeke’s remains have today been returned to Uganda following her untimely death in Canada.
Sally was a common figure in the Ugandan film circles; her role as ‘Jasmine’ in the Prestige series cemented her position in the acting industry.
However, breathed her last in May 2026 after a considerable period of grappling with the deadly breast cancer in Canada.
Her passing was a shocker to many, and a repatriation campaign was launched, where through a GoFundMe cause, her fans, followers, and well-wishers contributed financially to return the late’s body to get a proper send-off.

A few hours back, Sally’s body successfully touched down in Uganda and was received by her family, friends, and well-wishers.
The family has since issued a funeral arrangement, and based on the statement, a requiem church mass will be held at St Yusuf Lugalama Church of Uganda, Buye Kigoowa.
