Socialite and bar hostess Sandra Teta has clapped back at critics questioning why she is stuck with Weasel despite their marital challenges.
The couple recently had a public scuffle in which Sandra knocked down Weasel over a disagreement. While addressing the media, she expressed disbelief about how the media had chosen to blow things out of proportion.
She expressed her disappointment with the media for accusing her of forcing herself to be in Weasel’s despite all the ‘red flags.’
“I don’t know where they got all that from. Everyone has their own perspective. People enjoy the bad publicity around others. They claimed I came to destroy him, while some said I have refused to leave Weasel because I do not have a family of my own; there are a lot of conspiracies against me, but family, not the media, handles family issues,” she said.
Sandra explained that, just like any marriage, it was not easy, but critics chose to crucify her because they are in the limelight. She emphasized that the problems they faced were everyday and happened to every relationship.
“Marriage is not a bed of roses. There are ups and downs, but we go through that because we decided to be together. It doesn’t happen to me alone, but to anyone in a relationship. Sometimes you get angry, happy, or sad at each other. A relationship has two people who see things differently but decide to be together because they love each other. The fact that it’s me and Weasel doesn’t make us different from other people. If you are in the public eye, it is not easy because everyone has a say in situations that happen in your home,” she said.
Sandra Teta revealed that Weasel was recovering steadily from his injuries.
