Ugandan rapper Feffe Bussi, real name Frank Mukiza, has opened up about the challenges he faced with the proceeds from his concert last year.
Last year, Feffe Bussi staged his concert ‘HipHop Ku Nalubaale’ at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo. Just as everyone expected him to have reaped big from his day, the self-styled Smallest Rapper revealed that his money was stolen.
During an interview with Galaxy TV, Feffe Bussi confessed that he had a successful concert, but in a twist of events, he didn’t get all the money that was collected.
Despite not revealing the parties involved in swindling his money, he acknowledged that his concert attracted significant numbers to watch him make history.
“I cannot say I have the money. Got the money from my show, but it was stolen. I will not lie that I didn’t get any money; I did, but things happened. They stole some from me. A lot happened, but I cannot lie. My fans supported me massively,” he said.

Contrary to fellow artists’ claims that the concert proceeds are not enough to cover the event expenses, Feffe Bussi revealed that all his bills had been cleared before his show, stressing that it was a typical stunt used by artists to get attention.

“I see it as a stunt. Many artists use it a lot. When they come out of their shows, they claim they have a lot of debts. We want to see artists who are positive about the outcome. Personally, I don’t have debts for any of my shows. I came out with no single debt and everything went well,” he said.
