Veteran producer Paddyman has hit back at critic Eddy Sendi over his comments about Bobi Wine, King Saha, and Nubian Li’s collaboration.
Last week, the trio released a new audio, ‘Not Your Enemy,’ which is trending on various music platforms.
Eddy Sendi, during his ‘Talk and Talk’ with Kasuku, trashed the song, claiming it was not up to standards. Paddyman, the producer behind the song, was not pleased with his comments and, in an interview with BBS TV, downplayed Ssendi’s remarks, explaining that, contrary to his claims, the song was massively welcomed by the masses, as indicated by the views on YouTube a few days after its release.
Paddyman describes Sendi as a pessimistic person who is always on the opposing side rather than crediting others for the work they have done.
Eddy Sendi has always been like that. He has always been negative, but I advise him to be realistic and have a positive mind sometimes.
“While I would expect everyone to have their own opinion, I would not expect him to love such a song. I would love to consult Ssendi about many things but not music. Things concerning farming and such, because people like him must be thinking about retirement. At his age, he is supposed to be advising about other things,” Paddyman said.

Paddyman also addressed those claiming that the song was political. He argued that it addressed the current situation in the country and discussed issues that affect everyone.

“When you use a political ear to listen to the song, you interpret it that way. When you use the humanity side, you would know that they are addressing things that affect humanity,” he said.
