After a long and hard fought battle, Katabi-Kitubulu emerged winners of the Entebbe Super Cup Division ‘A’ Finals that were held at the Police Football Grounds on Monday. Katabi-Kitubulu edged hard fighting Lunyo East 1-0 in a mouth watering match that was well attended by both Lunyo East and Katabi-Kitubulu fans. Seventeen year old Sulaiman Mutebi aka Sula Pato scored the only goal of the match with a superb shot in the 65th Minute but was red carded in the 87th minute by Referee Fred Mpiima over his abusive language. Katabi goalie Richard Onde proved his worth after he saved several on-target shots. Douglas Awor, Kenneth Kisiro and Sebbi Hamza kept Lunyo East defensive pack busy with high flying shots. Katabi-Kitubulu will play Division ‘B’ Finalists in a grand finale match slated to take place on Sunday.
