    4th Corporate WoodBall Circuit| Osire, Apio Agnes Claim Victory.

    Uganda Men’s Woodball seed one William Osire yet again claimed victory at the 4th Corporate Woodball Circuit that teed off at the serene confines of Kisubi Beach in Entebbe on Sunday. After a 12 gates action packed round of woodball, William Osire from Bank of Uganda finished top in the men’s singles category after he returned a total of 53 strokes. His closest Challenger Raymond Semata from St. Joseph’s Technical Institute finished second with 55 strokes while John Baptist Kateregga finished third with 56 strokes.  Osire William Likiriat tops the men’s points log with 132 points from 4 outings. Kateregga John Baptist is in 2nd position with 127 points and Semata Raymond is 3rd with 126 points.

    Bank of Uganda’s (BOU) Apio Agnes finished top in the Women’s singles category with 66 strokes. Betty Alela (UNEB Woodball team) and Margaret Mulamba (St. Joseph’s Technical Institute) finished in second and third positions with 68 and 71 strokes respectively. Apio’s victory moves her top of women’s point log with 93 points from the 4 circuits.  Namulondo Regina Nsubuga (Centenary Bank) maintains her 2nd spot with 83 points. Sserukwaya Alexandria Namayo drops from 1st position to 3rd with 82 points. She finished 14th at the 4th Circuit. 2015 female corporate woodball player of the year Rose Matovu (Ndejje Corporate Club) is fourth on the points log with 80 points.

    Elsewhere in the Doubles category Raymond Semata and Rogers Tayebwa pair (St. Joseph’s Technical Institute) emerged winners with 61 strokes while Bukenya Godfrey and Ssemmanda Joseph Collins pair finished in second position with 62 strokes.

    Masimbi Aziz and Ssenyama Lasto from Buganda Land Board finished third with 64 strokes.
