Entebbe Municipality has grown from a small boring town with a small population in the past colonial days to a fast rising town with so many activities including happening places. Today the town is a fully fledged municipality with a first female Member of Parliament Rose Tumusiime Bikaako who was voted into office in the recent parliamentary polls. These politicians are real political gamblers who need lots of prayers.
*Obonyo Festo Owere*
Obonyo Festo Owere is a son to the National Organization For Trade Unions (NOTU) Chairman Usher Wilson Owere. This fellow is a kid when it comes to matters related to politics. He is a typical day dreamer who has toured all political parties in Entebbe. The broke fella first aspired to run for parliament on the FDC ticket but later crossed to the NRM. His miserable wallet forced him to chicken out of the parliamentary race. He aspired for the Lugonjo – Nakiwogo LCIV seat as an independent candidate but he was caned and warned to try his luck elsewhere. He is known for lacking direction and focus.
*Kyeyune Semanda aka German Coach*
Kyeyune Semanda popularly known as ‘German coach’ is one of those politicians who were born unlucky. He has been fighting tooth and nail for the Entebbe Municipality Division ‘B’ LCV Councilor seat since 2006 but he has been garnering pingu votes all the time he has been contesting. He bounced back on the political scene but he was thumped in the NRM Party primaries by Joseph Lwanga Lukyamuzi over the LCV seat. The aggrieved man stood as an independent in the 2016 general elections but he was again whipped like a nursery kid. Since then he has vanished from the political radar and his whereabouts aren’t known. He has been warned several times to stop gambling and fooling around in politics but he doesn’t listen.
*Fabrice Rulinda*
Fabrice Rulinda is one of those politicians whose political steam quickly evaporated after his bid to join parliament hit a dead end. The young flamboyant dude came from nowhere and took Entebbe residents by storm after he started pouring money around like crazy with no clear sources. He chickened out of the NRM Parliamentary party primaries after Patience Mubangizi and several other politicians cornered him like netted fish and launched investigations into his origin of birth and academic credentials. He disappointed his supporters after he failed to be nominated as an independent candidate for the parliamentary seat. The clever chap tactfully withdrew from the race after he acted his own movie on nomination day. The matter has since been forgotten but residents punched several holes into his credentials and personal background. Several babes have fallen for his looks and dime and gotten disappointed. He has since fled his rented apartment in Entebbe and he is living a quiet life in the city. He hates people who keep poking their noses into his credentials.
*Maggwa Ssali*
Maggwa Ssali is the Entebbe Municipality Democratic Party publicist who has tried his luck in politics but voters have refused to trust him with their votes. The DP Mouthpiece and political gambler was whipped in the 2016 General elections by NRM’s Joseph Lwanga Lukyamuzi over the Entebbe Municipality LCV Councilor seat. In 2011, he lost to a one Sadik Mukasa in the Democratic Party Primaries over the LCV Councilor seat. The poor man nowadays spends most of his time walking around the town and reading free news papers in Kitooro in addition to issuing empty threats to government.
*Amon Muzoora*
Former Rwampara Member of Parliament Amon Muzoora Reeves is well known in Entebbe for being a political gambler. The former Entebbe Municipality Deputy Town Clerk had one of the most boring campaigns in the 2016 general elections. He was among the eight candidates that were caned in the NRM Party primaries by Rose Tumusiime. He bounced back as an independent candidate but was caned after he garnered a miserable 212 votes. He doesn’t see eye to eye with Patience Mubangizi after she allegedly stole his votes during the 2011 NRM Party primaries. The former legislator has several dirty notes trailing him in every election including the 1000 bursaries that he had promised to the residents at Nkumba University during the 2011 elections that turned out to be fake. The latest we’ve gathered indicates that he has shifted his goal posts and spends most of his time around Parliament lobbying to join the East African Parliament in Arusha, Tanzania.
*Alex Mujurizi*
Alex Mujurizi is a cargo clearing manager at Entebbe International Airport who loves making threats. The hunky dude printed over five campaign posters and threatened to contest for the Igara East Parliamentary seat in Bushenyi District. He abandoned his political aspirations after locals in Bushenyi started were on his throat and asking for money like madness. He spends most of his time guzzling pints and hunting for sex-oozing babes around Nkumba University.
*Patience Mubangizi*
Patience Mubangizi is one of those hated politicians in Entebbe Municipality. Since 2011 elections, she has been forcing people to vote for her and join parliament but she is still unlucky. She has fallen out with her fellow members in the NRM Party including Rose Tumusiime and party publicist Figo Matovu. She contested as an independent in the general elections after she lost in the NRM Party Primaries. She finished in sixth position with 1063 votes. Inside sources have revealed that she fell out with the big-man and top state House bosses after she decided to run as an independent candidate. After failing to listen to the big-man’s advice she was ordered to surrender the government car she was cruising around. The latest we have gathered indicates that she is ‘burning on Katebe’ ever since she resigned as Presidential Advisor on Environmental matters. She has been avoiding public functions and events after her dream went to the garbage bin. Inside sources have indicated that she is paying bitterly for her fall from grace to grass because of her arrogance and pride.
*Kiwanuka Sembatya James*
Kiwanuka James is a fast rising political wanna-be in Entebbe who enjoys making empty threats. The hunky dude contested for the Buganda Youth MP seat on the Democratic Party ticket but lost miserably after voters didn’t see sense in his manifesto. Of late he has resorted to heavy drinking and making a lot of noise on social media to nurse his paining heart.
*Eng. Charles Kirumira*
Engineer Charles Kirumira is one man who wasn’t born a politician. The former Uganda Airlines flight Engineer jumped into the political frying pan in 2011 with little experience and got himself clobbered when he contested for the parliamentary seat on the NRM ticket. The NRM Party diehard was dragged to court by his wife after he sold off their residence located in Virus to join politics. She won the case and Kirumira was ordered to stop fooling around. The fella bounced back in the 2016 General elections but was castrated again. He secretly sold off several plots of land, a petrol station and Zabu Bar now lottos bar located in Entebbe Town behind his wife back and spent every coin on the campaign trail. Inside sources have revealed that he is plotting a comeback in 2021 for the Mayoral seat.
*Sadik Mukasa aka Hard body*
Sadik Mukasa is one hard bodied politician who doesn’t fear to confront anyone including police Authorities. In 2011 he accidentally won the Entebbe Municipality Division ‘B’ LCV Councilor seat on the Democratic Party ticket. He changed goal posts and jumped for the LCIII Division ‘B’ seat but was hammered after he polled 269 votes. The rowdy man fell out with Democratic Party Members and he hates Mayor Kayanja Vincent DePaul with all his heart. He has no political muscle and he has several ‘loose wires’ on his head.
*Chris Sebuliba*
Chris Sebuliba is a quiet soft-spoken man who loves politics though he can’t convince even 100 people to follow him. The NRM diehard eyed and aspired for the Entebbe Municipality Parliamentary seat during the 2016 General elections for several months but smartly chickened out of the race after he landed a juicy tourism job with Buganda Kingdom. His supporters including his former campaign Manager George Ntoganyi got pissed off after he played on their heads and was never clear with his way of doing things. He left his poor supporters hanging in the air until when they crossed to Rose Tumusiime’s camp. He auctioned off his residence located in Manyango and relocated to a two roomed rented apartment around Nkumba along Entebbe Road.
*Kasozi Miiro*
Kasozi Miiro tested the political waters for his first time after he tried to kick Mayor Kayanja Vincent DePaul out of office in the 2016 general elections. The FDC party diehard flipped his fingers in the political race and was beaten hands down. He led a couple of miserable defiance demos with his FDC Colleagues but they have since fizzled out and his whereabouts aren’t known. He disappeared into thin air after police started hunting for him over plotting to cause chaos.

Kalle Michael is regretting why he wasted his small savings in the recent parliamentary race. The broke man was fooled and deceived by his supporters that he was the right candidate for the parliamentary seat. He almost broke down after he spoke to empty chairs on one of his campaign trails. His place of residence is not clear. The poor fella is back to his welding business located in Kitooro.
*Lwanga Wakaima Gasuza*
Lwanga Wakaima aka Shanks Idola is a musical man turned political gambler. The ever jolly character tried his luck in politics and got a thorough beating. The son to a wealthy man is off the political scene and the latest we have gathered indicates that he has gone back to school to upgrade to a Master’s degree after he was floored in the NRM Parliamentary primaries.
*Bogere Mesach*
Bogere Mesach is a well known FDC Political failure in Entebbe. He lacks political vigor and has contested for the Division ‘A’ LCIII seat for several times with no success. He contested for the Division ‘A’ LCIII Seat in the just concluded polls and was caned again. He spends most of his time coaching and training school girls on how to play football.
*Herbert Mutungi*
Herbert Mutungi is a clearing boss at Entebbe International Airport. The nosy fella has never stopped licking his wounds ever since he tested his political skills over the Mbarara Municipality LCV seat. He was whipped and roasted like Ground nuts with no mercy and to make matters worse he is one of the most hated man at Entebbe International Airport. He poured over Shs200m in the heated race but voters chewed his money and voted his rival. The former Uganda Clearing Industry and Forwarders Association (UCIFA) Chairman was last year kicked out of office after he turned nosy and grew several wings. Since then he has learnt some manners and he is living a quiet life.
*Othieno Peter*
Othieno peter loves the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) with all his heart. The FDC Party diehard gave the LCIII Division ‘B’ seat a second shot after he was caned in 2011 by incumbent Eng. Anthony Segujja. He lacks the political demeanor to convince voters that he can take charge of their affairs. He recently got himself behind bars after police arrested him alongside Alex Gitta while they were plotting for their Defiance Campaign at their party office in Lugonjo. The little known politician polled 102 votes in the just concluded LCIII polls after his FDC party failed to gain numerical strength like NRM and DP.
*Bwadinga Godfrey*
Bwadinga Godfrey is one old man who loves politics despite not having any political muscle. The NRM diehard contested for the Entebbe Municipality Division ‘B’ LCV seat and was badly floored in the party primaries. The former Rotarian and Desolut Uganda NGO Boss was recently pinned down by former rotary President Jeff Kayongo over pocketing Shs14m meant to help several farmers in Kyotera Region. The aging man was pinned down over diverting the funds into his campaigns. Of late he has been avoiding his office located in Entebbe Town and several public places ever since he was caned.
*Ndayisenga Bumali Twaha aka Kikankane*
Ndayisenga Bumali aka Kikankane is living a low profile ever since he was taught a lesson after he was floored over the LCV Councilor seat. The young man is regretting why he wasted over Shs10m on the campaign trail trying to convince voters to vote for him. He was among several aspiring councilors who lost in the NRM party primaries and contested as an independent in the General elections. He was pounded in the general elections and since then he has left political issues to the real politicians.
