The 2016 Edition of the Copa Coca Cola Netball Secondary Schools Challenge title came to a climax on Thursday with Kennedy Secondary School successfully defending their 2015 title. Kennedy once again locked horns with their bitter rivals Entebbe Parents Secondary School in a repeat of the 2015 finals that were held at the Works Play Ground in Entebbe Municipality. Kennedy was crowned champions after a 15-10 victory against Entebbe Parents. Kennedy edged Airforce Secondary School.
17-14 in the semi-finals while Entebbe Parents saw off Tagy Girls School with 12-9 score.
I’m overjoyed that we have defended the 2015 title. It wasn’t easy but team work, constant training and passion among the players has enabled the team defend the 2015 title, Kennedy High School Netball coach Peter Ntesibe told entebbenews.
Kennedy beat Entebbe Parents 13-7 in the 2015 finals. Over 17 teams participated in the tournament.
