Though he is yet to officially campaign in Entebbe Municipality Independent Presidential Candidate John Patrick Amama Mbabazi is already confident and vowing to sweep Entebbe with a 60 percent vote margin ahead of the February 18 polls. The former NRM Party Secretary General has unleashed a campaign team which is moving clandestinely on the ground and hunting for votes for him in the municipality. However the campaign team has remained tightlipped on their vote hunting methods because JPAM has ordered them to work smart and always report to him or his wife Jacqueline Mbabazi for advice. The campaign team claims that Mbabazi commands a huge support base in Entebbe Municipality though entebbenews cannot independently verify the claims.

We (campaign team) cannot disclose our vote hunting methods but we are steadily moving on the ground in Entebbe and we are confident that Mbabazi has the support. a source in the Go-forward team disclosed.
Entebbe news has also reliably established that Mayor Kayanja Vincent DePaul, NRM’s Sempala Twaha who is vying for the LCIII Chairman Division B seat, NRM Vice Chairman Entebbe Municipality Kasozi Kiriweru and an Independent MP Candidate were among the few politicians who signed and received Amama cash. Mayor Kayanja is reported to have received Shs 23m for his campaigns. A source revealed that he first received Shs 5m and later received Shs18m. Twaha Sempala is said to have received only Shs2m while Kasozi Kiriweru is said to have received Shs8m. A former MP Aspirant is said to have pocketed Shs 50m however the former MP Aspirant denied ever pocketing Mbabazi cash.

Michael Kakembo the DP Flag bearer for the MP seat missed out on Mbabazi cash because according to a highly placed source he didn’t coordinate well with the Go-forward team in Entebbe.
All those who received Mbabazi cash should be able to do ground work for him. A source revealed.
