The ruling National Resistance Movement Party in Entebbe Municipality has cut it’s teeth and threatening to uproot the Democratic Party from power in next year’s General elections. The National Resistance Movement party has been benching for the last five years after it was massively caned from the MP level up to the councilor’s level during the 2011 elections. Only five NRM councilors survived the sword. The party has rebranding and marketing itself up to the grass roots level and on last week on Thursday all NRM party diehards painted the town yellow after the nominations of party flag bearers at the Entebbe Municipal council offices and Wakiso district headquarters. Veteran councilor Rose Tumusiime who is seeking to be the first female Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament will face off DP’s Michael Kakembo, Former LCIII Division B Chairman Joseph Ssesanga will face off with Mayor Kayanja Vincent DePaul, Sempala Twaha will face off with Stanley Namayirira for the Municipal Division B Seat while Wasswa Kasule David will face off with NRM’s Michael Mutebi for the Division A seat. Our News team covered the NRM Nominations. All flag bearers on the MP Ticket will be nominated on 2nd and 3rd December at the Wakiso district offices.
