Former Entebbe Municipality Mayor Stephen Kabuye is walking with head high after narrowly surviving being knifed by NRM Party members in Entebbe. The former town boss and Entebbe NRM Chairman has been benching ever since he lost the lucrative job to his enemy Kayanja Vincent DePaul in the 2011 bloody elections. The potbellied man bitterly lost to his rival and abandoned the yellow party to hustle on the streets. The party members have been bitter with him because of his failure to organize meetings and promote the party in the upcoming hot boiling campaigns. Last week the party members gave him a second chance after he asked them to forgive him for all his wrongs and mistakes. He was re-elected unopposed after Kasozi Kiriweru stood down for him in good faith. Kasozi settled for post of Vice chairman, Sefunka Tamuzadde was elected Secretary General while Edirisa Matovu was elected publicity secretary. Peninah Kabenge was elected Treasurer. The new team is threatening to kick out Democratic Party in next year’s polls boiling like hot magma.
