Entebbe Golf Club was the place to be on Saturday as 16 Golfers battled in the third round of the now popular Singleton Golf match play Challenge. After a tedious and pain staking round of Golf Paul Nsereko and his ‘Kabalaza’ Golf Buddy Enock Nuwagaba knocked out Jude Ochieng and Alex Nkuyahaga 5/4, Jadu Patel teamed up with Anthony Agaba to thump Mark Kaddumukasa and Peter Mukiibi pair 4/3. The two winning pairs earned themselves vouchers that will see them enjoy a round of Golf at the state of the art Serena Golf Course come April 11, 2017. Alan Muhereza and Moses Matsiko pair also progressed to the fourth round after they beat the only female pair 3/2 comprising of Irene Nakalembe and Moureen Okura. Muhereza and Matsiko earned themselves fire extinguishers courtesy of Pinnacle security however out of good sportsmanship Matsiko and Muhereza donated their respective fire extinguishers to Nakalembe and Okura.

In his own words Matsiko lauded Nakalembe and Okura for putting up a stiff challenge while they were on the course.  Dan Kajungu and Collins Nuwagira saw off Jerry Owachi and George Nkya 2/1 while Kiryowa Kiwanuka and his partner in crime Elly ‘Sober’ Mukasa earned their third walk over and advanced to the fourth round after Vincent Katutsi and Harry Hakiza pair didn’t show up.
