Entebbe, Sun City, Kampala and Bright Stars booked their slots in the semi finals to be played at the Works Ground today Saturday. Kampala DFC topped Group A table with 10 points after beating Tigers 2-0 and drawing 0-0 with Entebbe on Friday while on Thursday they beat Oyam 4-1 and Etop 2-0. Entebbe finished second in Group A with 8 points after beating Oyam 2-0 and Tigers 4-1 on Thursday while on Friday they were held to 1 all draw by Etop and a goalless draw by Kampala DFC. Oyam lost to Etop 1-0 and were also held to a goalless draw.
Elsewhere in Group B defending champions Sun City and Bright Stars advanced to the semifinal stage with each side finishing with 7 points. Sun City beat Lira 3-0 and black stars 5-1 on Thursday while on Friday they were held to a goalless draw by Bright Stars at the Police Play Grounds. Bright Stars thumped Black Stars 5-0 and Lira 4-1. In other group B Matches that were played at the Police play Ground Lira thumped Black Stars 4-2. The tournament will climax today with the finals to be played at 4pm.
