Ugandan boxers and boxing clubs have long faced difficulties due to inadequate training facilities. Addressing this issue, Nigerian artist Mr. Eazi is now extending support to the Zebra Boxing Club in Kampala.
Founded by the late Isaac Ssenyange, also known as Zebra Mando, the club is set to undergo significant refurbishment thanks to Mr. Eazi and his company, Chop Gaming.
The refurbishment project aims to preserve Zebra Mando’s legacy and provide young boxers with a safe space to develop their skills. Mr. Eazi’s involvement will empower the community, fostering confidence and resilience among its members. This aligns with the club’s mission to positively impact lives through boxing.
Mr. Eazi’s commitment to sports development is not new. In Accra, Ghana, he played a crucial role in renovating the Bronxy Boxing Gym, equipping it with state-of-the-art facilities.
He has also supported similar initiatives in Cameroon, demonstrating a consistent dedication to promoting sports across Africa. Through his investments in sports betting and gaming via Choplife Gaming, Mr. Eazi continues to contribute to African development.
The support from Mr. Eazi is expected to inspire a new generation of boxers and elevate Uganda’s boxing profile on the global stage.
