Singer Weasel Manizo’s eldest son, Malcom Mayanja, has addressed the relationship with his father and his partner Sandra Teta, denying allegations that they were at loggerheads.
A few weeks back, social media was awash with recordings believed to be of private conversations of a heated argument between Weasel and Malcolm. Days later, Malcom issued a public statement on his social media accounts, apologizing to his father and the entire family for the disgrace he had brought to them.
During an interview with BBS TV, Malcolm further apologized to his father, acknowledging his mistakes. Despite not detailing their fallout, he revealed that whatever happened was done out of pressure and anxiety about whatever was happening.
“Whatever happened, happened but it was just out of pressure and aunty because you know things get hard sometimes. Daddy I know I wronged you and I accept I made the mistake. I’m still seeking your forgiveness and from everyone that I offended by what I said,” he said.

Malcolm further denied allegations that he was on bad terms with his father’s partner, Sandra Teta. He denied being kicked out of their home, noting that he chose to move out because he felt he was old enough to start life on his own.

“Just like any grown person, you get to a point when you cannot stay at home anymore. For Sandra Teta, we have no issues between us and we relate very well. I last talked to her last week, even during the burial, we were together. I love my dad with her because he loves her so much and I want what is best for him. I have no problem with that,” he said.
