Goodlyfe singer Weasel Manizo has expressed his disappointment with some of the music producers over selling the late singing partner Mowzey Radio’s unreleased music.
Over the years, there has been an ongoing debate regarding the late Mowzey Radio’s music, with several music producers claiming they had some raw projects.
Without disputing the claims, Weasel, during his recent radio interview, confirmed that Radio’s music was distributed in many studios. During their days, he claimed that they worked under different producers since they didn’t own a studio.
Being a songwriter, Radio penned down several songs and recorded his parts as well. On many occasions, he would contact Weasel, telling him to visit the studios and fix his verses before they released the songs. He did this with different producers, and upon his sudden passing, Weasel lost touch.

Some of these masterpieces, Weasel claims they have been resold to other artists, and he has heard them play. He, however, made it clear that he was only responsible for the music he had in his possession and had no right to follow up on the songs out there.

“They can sell them if they want because I have nothing to do about that. I’m only responsible for the ones I have because I can’t start asking for money for songs I do not know. I know they are there, and I hear some of them playing. Sometimes I hear a song that I surely know that I have heard before because Radio wrote them, sang them for me there, and sometimes called me to the studio to listen to them. But it is all vanity. You just have to let it go. It is survival of the fittest for everyone. I have heard his songs, not one, not two being released,” he said.
Weasel, however, refused to list the songs out of fear that he might be setting himself up for more feuds in the industry.
