    We need leaders who nurture others & vibrant -Entebbe Mp Hopeful Seryazi

    City lawyer and parliamentary aspirant Wilberforce Seryazi is back in the spotlight following his political ambitions in Entebbe.

    The spokesperson and counsel for Alliance for National Transformation party is walking places and campaigning for the parliamentary seat currently occupied by hon. Rosemary Tumusiime Bikaako of the ruling party NRM.

    The ANT party  mouth piece and Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu lead counsel is contesting for the parliamentary office with several others including Hon Rosemary Tumusiime Bikaako(incumbent),Stephen Shyka Gashaija(NRM),Kale Micheal(DP),Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa(NUP),Abubaker Walusimbi(FDC),Namuli Nabatta Namuli(ind),Jaramogi Liivingstone(ind)plus other we are to identify.

    Seryazi said at a meeting with electorates over the weekend that “we need leaders that nurture and mentor others for the future of this country”.

    He revealed that the politics of abusing each other is getting obsolete and outdated. ‘Leaders should be put on weighing scale to test their leadership capabilities than voting simply anyone who smiles and talks a lot of nothing by end of day.

    He noted that passed leaders have not effectively done their job as expected and pledged to be the spring board of the voiceless on the floor of parliament.

    ‘This business of walking to parliament and just taking tea is soiling the gateway name with leaders who just spend time dosing in the house of lords.

    He said that Entebbe needs a vibrant leader and policy maker who understands the law than voting leaders who simply ‘shy away’ from representing their own constituencies and areas.

    He noted that many government ministries have closed-doors because of lack of vibrant leaders who take the blame game by end of day. He added that many closed government agencies could reduce on the rapid unemployment challenge in the country and for the locals.

    Mayoral hopeful Ken Simbwa said during the meeting that, “Entebbe needs young fresh minded leaders for better tomorrow”.

    He added that Entebbe has lost glory because of poor leadership that doesn’t understand the dynamics of sustainable urbanism.

    In related development all the aspiring candidates at different levels were unveiled including aspiring Div ‘B’ chairperson Gitta Alex Mulibanga,Lubega Shafic(aspiring Kiwafu Central&Kiwafu West councilor),Nagawa Rehema(aspiring Kitooro Central councilor) plus others.
