Aspiring district councilor has advised voters to get fresh leaders with passion and experience ahead of the 2021 scientific general elections.
Ssenfuma Arthur, the aspiring Wakiso LC 5 district councilor said during a meeting with electorates that the municipality needs to have academically up right leaders who can articulates issues and understand principals of governance.
He said that leaders with limited education are costing government to spend tax payers’ money and time to train them leadership codes and ethics.
“The municipality needs capable leaders as we heading to the city status, come 2022 and it’s a big mileage with lots of challenges”, said aspiring councilor.
He added that this issue of voting financially crippled leaders is getting obsolete and running of time. So electing poor leaders is a waste of time which greatly affects performance and development.
Ssenfuma is a graduate of Makerere university and family man with 4 kids including two lawyers. He has previously participated in the local politics as parliamentary hopeful for Entebbe Municipality in the 2016 general election.
In related development the ruling party (NRM) is fronting two other candidates and these include Ronald Musoke and Emma Seguya. Voting is schedule for this weekend.
