Vivo Energy Uganda, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has announced its sponsorship of the CoRSU Walk 2025, an initiative aimed at raising funds for children in need of specialized surgeries.
The CoRSU (Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for People with Disability in Uganda) walk is scheduled for later this year and seeks to generate resources to support children requiring corrective surgeries and rehabilitation services.
Vivo Energy said its contribution underscores the company’s commitment to social responsibility, particularly in healthcare. “We are proud to stand with CoRSU in ensuring children have access to life-changing surgeries that restore hope and dignity,” the company noted.
Organizers of the walk expressed gratitude for the sponsorship, highlighting how such partnerships make it possible to provide free or subsidized medical services to underprivileged children. The CoRSU Walk has become a key platform for mobilizing communities and partners to support the fight against disability-related challenges in Uganda.
