Police in Entebbe is looking for two suspects who raided the fisheries protection unit officer on duty and strangled him dead.
Police had taken his body for postmortem in Mulago.
According to the fisheries protection unity political commissar Maj Yero Muhozi, the incident happened while officers were on a routine operation on Lake Victoria.
The force netted two in Kigungu Entebbe with immature fish.
