    StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2021-2022 (Match Day 15): Saturday, January 8, 2022 Results:

    URA 1-0 KCCA

    Onduparaka 4-2Tooro United

    Vipers 1-1 BUL

    Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and Onduparaka recorded home wins in the 2021-2022 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) match day 15.

    URA ended the unbeaten run for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) with a 1-0 win at the Arena of Visions playground in Ndejje University, Bombo.

    Striker Steven Desse Mukwala headed home the soletary goal off Saidi Kyeyune’s corner kick in the 37th minute.

    KCCA, however, had two goals by Sadat Happy Anaku and Rogers Mato disallowed for seemingly off side calls by the assistant referee Hakim Mulindwa.

    URA’s defender Faruku Katongole was named the man of the match, earning a plaque and cash worth Shs. 100,000 sponsored by Uganda Breweries Limited under the pilsner brand.

    At the AbaBet Green Light Stadium in Arua City, Onduparaka humbled Tooro United 4-2.

    Team captain Muhammad Shaban, Gabriel Matata, Nathan Oloro and Emmanuel Oketch netted the goals for Onduparaka, a side also known as the Catarpillars.

    Hussein Mwanje and Denis Ojara (his first ever goal at Tooro United) replied for the visitors.

    BUL denied Vipers victory with a late equalizer at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende as the two sides shared the spoils, 1-all.

    Vipers had taken the lead through defender Walter Ochora’s own goal before subsistute Simon Peter Oketch capitalized on a mistake by Allan Kayiwa to score a last minute goal.

    Uganda’s record league winners, Sports Club Villa played to a non-scoring draw with the army men, UPDF at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

    Match day 15 winds down with two matches on Sunday, 9th January 2022.

    At the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo when Police hosts Arua Hill and Mbarara City will be home to Busoga United at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara city.
