The Uganda People’s Defence AirForces (UPDAF) Warrant Officer one Ali Maganda is nursing serious paining injuries ever since he was knocked down by a speeding white Toyota El grand monster ride in Magala Zone, Nsamizi in Entebbe Municipality. The government army officer kissed death by a whisker after the speeding car registration no. UAX 029R knocked him down way back on March 12. He was rushed to Nakasero Medical center in a very critical condition after a couple of his ribs were dislocated. To make matters worse the driver abandoned the car at the accident scene and disappeared into thin air. For the last two months the poor man has been bedridden in Nakasero Hospital with no one to help him sort out the choking Ten Million Uganda Shillings (Shs 10m) medical bills. He was released from hospital two weeks ago and he is hunting down for the car owner to hand him over to the police authorities. Last week he took matters in his own hands and stormed Entebbe Police station after the police officers kept telling him lots of stories without taking serious action to investigate and hunt down for the car driver.
